How the Trombone is made:
The Trombone is made in approximently 50 hours which takes a lot of hard work and effort. The makers start off with many sheets of brass and then form the sheets around a bell-shaped model. To allow the edges to come together, they cut small hooks on one side of the sheet and then weld them together. After that, the bell is too square, so he puts the bell onto the model again, and rounds the edges out with rollers. Then, they put the bell through a draw bench, which presses the bell tightly around the model, giving it its shape. Then, they attach a brass disk to the end of the bell and then put a spinning lathe. They gently push a lever against the spinning disk, to make the disk shape into a flare. Next, they weld the flare onto the bell stem. To make the tubing, they do the same procedure as before, take sheets of brass and wrap them around a metal tube. Then, they pull the tubes through a mandrill to stretch the tubes. Then they freeze the tubes so that they won't buckle while they are being bent into shape. Next, they send metal balls through the bent tube, to make the size the exact same as all other tubes. Then, they weld together all the tubing that they have created. In total, the trombone has at least 2-3 meters of tubing. Finally, the engrave the brands logo onto the trombone with a diamond-tipped tool and then polish the entire instrument.
